Presentation Abstract
- What are the current diagnostic problems lesions of the Jaw Bone (FDOJ)?
FDOJ – Fatty Degenerative Osteonecrosis of the Jaw is a term currently adapted to describe “silent inflammation” that is often found in the bones of upper or lower jaws. Less accurate descriptions of the inflammation are “NICO” ( Neuralgia Induced Cavitational Osteonecrosis) or just general population widely accepted term “Cavitation” used more often for bone disorders in jaw-bone marrow.
- Connection between RANTES/CCL5 from FDOJ and CICO (Cancer Inducing Cavitational Osteonecrosis)
RANTES/CCL5 gene was introduced in 1988. It is shown to induce migration concentration of T cells, eosinophils, mast cells and basophils. Initially considered to be a T cell specific cytokine it is produced by platelets, macrophages, fibroblasts, endothelium, epithelium and endometrial cells.

Services Offered By Dr. Pastouk
Tongue-Tie surgery:
This surgery involves reducing the lingual frenulum, or the tight skin connecting the tongue to the bottom part of the mouth. Children born with an extremely tight lingual frenulum often have breastfeeding problems, blocked airways that hinder breathing, and problems developing speech.
Invisalign Treatment:
Invisalign treatments are available for patients to correct the alignment of their teeth for health or cosmetic purposes.
Dental Acupuncture:
This service is adjunctive to surgery to solve dental issues like gag and dental reflexes, temporomandibular clicking and locking, atypical face pain, and other dental problems.
Ceramic Implants and Biological Dental Surgery:
Ceramic implants fill gaps after tooth removal. These implants are considered to be the most biocompatible with our physiological system.
Glossodontics™:
The Glossodontics™ treatment pioneered by Dr. Pastouk aims to solve dental problems at the physical level but also at the emotional and mental health level. With this method, it is possible to restore energy and health by improving the function of the anatomically complex areas of the tongue, prelingual tissues, skull bones, teeth, jaws, and muscles.
Alternative Treatment for Sleep Apnea and Snoring:
This is an alternative treatment for patients with snoring and sleep apnea conditions. This non-invasive surgery involves opening the patient’s airway with a custom-made appliance that improves the patient’s breathing and helps them to sleep better.
