“Consensus of expert panel from Shanghai, China recommends IV vitamin C in the treatment of the COVID19 virus. Early reports from the principle investigator point to reduced cytokine, inflammatory burst in the COVID19 with the use of IV vitamin C. This is consistent with septic shock studies that have shown that IV vitamin C reduces inflammatory burst, ICU hospital stays, and mortality.
The only concern is that the current 24 grams IV vitamin C is not enough. The severe hypovitaminosis C levels in patients with pneumonia, sepsis, and in the ICU is known to be refractory to vitamin C replacement requiring higher dose administration of vitamin C. Could a higher delivery dose of IV vitamin C could provide even better results? The current evidence suggests yes.”

What do we know about Cancer and Vitamin C?

Cancer is a state that leaves the body deficient in vitamin C—a state of metabolic scurvy if you will. Many claim that the evidence on vitamin C is sparse, incomplete, inconclusive, or is ineffective or worse, detrimental to the conventional triad of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.
An analysis of the large volume of literature present on vitamin C in the prevention, but more specifically the treatment of cancer, just does not support any of those conclusions. In fact, the evidence points to the overwhelming conclusion that vitamin C, particularly intravenous vitamin C, should be a part of every treatment plan for people with cancer and in individuals with other illness i.e. viral infections, bacterial infections.
