Abstract

Integrative oncology utilizes the most effective aspects from multiple healing disciplines including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, biological dentistry, TCM, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Chiropractic, Botanical medicine, fasting, healthy diet and lifestyle, psychospiritual practices, etc.

The practitioner must be knowledgeable, trained and experienced in each of the disciplines to know which specific therapies to use under which conditions. There is no one discipline that has all the answers and therefore it is imperative that the practitioner, whose goal is to help people resort to health know when and how to use the appropriate therapies and interventions.

Bio

Dr. Thomas Lodi, MD, MD(H)

Not Just a Physician…A Clinical Psychologist, a Nutritionist, a Historian, and a Philosopher

Thomas Lodi, MD has been practicing medicine for 35+ years and, in 2005, transferred his practice from New York to Mesa, Arizona where he founded An Oasis of Healing. At that time, few if any other centers provided integrative cancer care: an intelligent, rational blend of effective therapies from all medical and healing disciplines.

He has pioneered what has now become the definitive route for those unsatisfied with the modern cancer treatment system.

Dr. Lodi’s goal is health and where there is health, not only is there no cancer…there is also no diabetes, no high blood pressure, heart problems, no neurological problems, etc.

Dr. Lodi’s healing approach has revolutionized the integrative oncology industry worldwide, but to reach more people, he and his colleagues developed an online program that empowers the everyday person to control aspects of their lives that will facilitate in the prevention of cancer, the elimination of cancer, and overall health restoration.

After graduating from the University of Hawaii, School of Medicine in 1985 Dr. Lodi served as a visiting Clinical Fellow at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City where he also underwent training in Internal Medicine. From 1991 to 1996, Dr. Lodi was appointed as Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, School of Medicine.

Subsequently, Dr. Lodi continued his search for more effective and less toxic therapies by training around the world from Japan to Europe to Mexico and all around the US.

Although he occasionally sees patients with a variety of medical conditions, Dr. Lodi has narrowed his scope of practice through specific training and extensive experience over the past 12 years to Integrative Oncology (caring for people with cancer).

For the benefit of his patients and to remain current in all areas of oncology, Dr. Thomas Lodi maintains memberships in both conventional and alternative medical professional associations.
